Description

Examines 3 rural sites in South Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio that implemented services for people with substance use disorders (SUDs) who have been released from jail or prison and are currently under supervision to help them maintain treatment and reduce recidivism. Describes how efforts at each site were aligned with the Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) at Intercept 5 for individuals with behavioral health disorders who are under community corrections supervision. Program activities were developed as part of Rural Responses to the Opioid Epidemic (RROE) project.
