Description
Offers training, technical assistance, and resources to support and enhance recovery-oriented systems of care people with mental health and/or substance use conditions in the U.S. Also seeks to support and promote equitable access to recovery supports and services for underserved and under-resourced populations and communities.
What This Program Offers
The SAMHSA Program to Advance Recovery Knowledge (SPARK) can provide:
- Information and resources to support, implement, and sustain recovery-oriented systems of care
- Consultations, strategies, and other types of assistance to enhance equitable access to recovery supports and services
- Support for organizational development, including leadership, infrastructure, and capacity building
- Training and technical assistance to expand recovery supports and services in states, tribes, territories, and communities
- Events and an online resource center libraryto advance recovery-oriented systems of care
Who Can Receive Services from This Program
People and organizations who work and volunteer to advance recovery supports and services in states, tribes, territories, and communities are eligible to participate.
