Description
Offers healthcare professionals evidence-based training, education, and resources to treat patients with alcohol use disorder (AUD). Provides free training to clinicians, pharmacists, peers, and substance use disorder counselors to enhance their ability to identify and treat individuals with AUD, including the use of medications for alcohol use disorder (MAUD).
What This Program Offers
PCSS-MAUD can provide:
- Training in the form of online self-paced modules, mini videos, enduring training, and live events
- Virtual mentoring and interactive case-based discussions from clinical experts
- Digital resources with toolkits, infographics, fact sheets, and other material on prevention, treatment, and recovery services for AUD
Who Can Receive Services from This Program
Eligible participants are healthcare professionals who treat individuals with alcohol use disorder (AUD), including but not limited to:
- Physicians
- Nurse practitioners
- Physician assistants/associates
- Nurses
- Pharmacists
- Peers
- Substance use disorder counseling professionals

There is no application process to receive assistance. Registration for online training is available on the program website.
