Description
Offers technical assistance to state and local agencies and organizations to strengthen justice systems, reduce recidivism, and improve policy and practice to increase equity and access to services for behavioral health, housing, education/employment, victim support, and more.
What This Program Offers
The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center can provide:
- Technical assistance to state and local agencies and organizations to translate research into policy and practice
- Assistance in working with data to support major criminal justice reforms and their intersection with health, education, housing, and other systems
- Original research and data analysis to inform justice system improvements
- Interactive tools and data resources to support local policymakers and practitioners in criminal justice and related fields
- Summaries of current and past projects with related resources
- Publications, videos, events, current news and analysis
Who Can Receive Services from This Program
Eligible participants include:
- State officials
- Local leaders, including law enforcement, jails, and court systems
- Justice professionals, including reentry and behavioral health providers
