Description

Develops partnerships between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and community and faith-based organizations. Provides up-to-date information on federal health and human service activities and resources to help local organizations better serve their communities. Focuses on supporting grassroots efforts to address the issues of mental health and youth, opioids and preventing overdose, suicide prevention, and supporting individuals reentering society after incarceration and their families.

What This Program Offers

The Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (Partnership Center) can provide:

Monthly webinars on promising practices and other topics related to opioids
Community resources, including toolkits, fact sheets, and other U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) products, in the areas of youth mental health, overdose prevention, suicide prevention, and reentry populations
Tools to locate current HHS providers and services in or near local communities
Information on HHS grant opportunities and resources to help develop a grant application
Resources on federal regulations regarding faith-based organizations receiving federal funding
Program and policy internships at the Partnership Center
