Description
Offers technical assistance and information resources to help rural communities identify and implement evidence-based practices to prevent substance use and reduce negative outcomes related to substance use disorder (SUD), including efforts to address stigma.
What This Program Offers
The UR Medicine RCOE can provide:
- Technical assistance to communities nationwide looking to independently identify, adapt, and implement SUD prevention programs
- Information resources, including webinars, toolkits, guides, and newsletters, featuring evidence-based practices and highlighting model programs and approaches in rural communities
Who Can Receive Services from This Program
Eligible participants are public health entities, healthcare providers, local community leaders, and organizations addressing or seeking to address SUD in rural areas.
